Kraken Cassy was a late scratching at 1.21pm due to injury (GAR 37). Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Maximum Fazz, Cussen Park, Super Zippy and Bitumen Burner collided soon after the start.
Glory Blue, Mock Place, Maximum Fazz, Cussen Park and Super Zippy collided approaching the first turn checking Maximum Fazz and Cussen Park and severely checking Super Zippy which stumbled as a result.
Mock Place and Bitumen Burner collided on the first turn checking Bitumen Burner.
Maximum Fazz and Bitumen Burner collided approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds; both fell as a result.
Capital Cruise and Mock Place raced wide entering the home straight.
Maximum Fazz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.
Bitumen Burner was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained superficial grazing and spike injuries, no stand down period was imposed.
