Bagpipes Billy and Dulcet Sound collided approaching the first turn, checking Dulcet Sound. Bagpipes Billy, Dulcet Sound and Sticka Step collided on the first turn, checking Dulcet Sound. Northern Ghost checked off My Wrecker approaching the home turn. Bagpipes Billy and Sticka Step collided approaching the home turn, checking Sticka Step and Roll 'Em Missy. Dulcet Sound, Sticka Step and Roll 'Em Missy collided approaching the home turn, checking Sticka Step. Dulcet Sound and Roll 'Em Missy collided entering the home straight and in the home straight, checking both greyhounds. Hell On Wheels checked off Northern Ghost in the home straight.
Meeting Comments:
Satisfactory Weight Trial (Solo) - Nefarious trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 30.3kg in a field of two starters. The time of the trial was 22.97, Nefarious was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Pink Poppy trialled over the 450m from box 6, weight 27.2kg, in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 25.45, the greyhound faltered and subsequently tailed off. Pink Poppy was not cleared to race in blinkers.
Pink Poppy was vetted following the event. It was reported that that there was no apparent injury found.
