Freakish Flash was quick to begin. In A Pickle was slow to begin. Cha Ching Ching and In A Pickle collided several times in the home straight, checking both greyhounds.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. J Galea, the trainer of Cha Ching Ching regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. 

Mr. K. Daisley, the handler of Ultra Bear declared a new weight of 35.3 kg's for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Ultra Bear last raced at 36.6 kg's.

Windsor Reign was a late scratching at 8.45 AM due to diarrhoea (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Brady Bones and Merl's Angel were slow to begin. Brady Bones and Marvelette collided on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds. Brady Bones fell as a result. 

Brady Bones was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left shoulder injury, a fourteen day stand down period was imposed. 

Iza Comin' was slow to begin. Crazed Blaze and Sisco Rascal collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. 

Iza Comin' was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left quadriceps, a ten day stand down period was imposed. 

Diamond Rebel was slow to begin. 

Diamond Rebel was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Barra Johnson became dislodged during the running of this event. 

Regis Rebel was slow to begin. Bombora Comet and Beers On Us collided soon after the start. Regis Rebel and Bombora Comet collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Regis Rebel, Bombora Comet and Beers On Us collided approaching the home turn, checking all three greyhounds. Regis Rebel checked off Bombora Comet on the home turn. 

A sample was taken from Star Desire - the winner of the event. 

Beers On Us was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the left hind toe, a twenty-one day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. J. Frusher, the trainer of Bombora Comet regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at box rise.

Tango Princess was a late scratching at 9.06 AM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a toe pad injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Scotta Be Quick was quick to begin. Just A Peanut was slow to begin. Leaping Lola and Just A Peanut collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Leaping Lola checked off Just A Peanut approaching the home turn. 

Leaping Lola was vetteted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Millie's Jack was a late scratching at 8.36 AM due to a shoulder injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Windsor Storm was a late scratching at 8.46 AM due to diarrhoea (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Drogma was slow to begin. Mahjong Prince and Vista Flash collided approaching the first turn. Mahjong Prince and Vista Flash raced wide approaching the home turn. Mahjong Prince and Vista Flash collided on the home turn. 

Cosmic Bear was slow to begin. Bombora Cyclone and Seeking Stars collided soon after the start. Seeking Stars brushed the running rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result.

American Bandit and Run Jackie Run were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Inclusive and American Bandit collided soon after the start. American Bandit checked off Inclusive approaching the first turn. Inclusive, American Bandit and Run Jackie Run collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, severely checking all three greyhounds.
