A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Nadia.
Rainbow Party and Don Lino were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Nitrology crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Fab Dream and Zipping Stu. Zipping Nadia, Fab Dream, Rainbow Party and Don Lino collided on the first turn checking Fab Dream, severely checking Zipping Stu and Rainbow Party. Nitrology and Lani Bale collided several times in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
Zipping Stu was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Rainbow Party was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
