Fastest Leap and Weowna Jet were slow to begin. Mighty Bree stumbled soon after the start. Bright Sky crossed in soon after the start checking Hell Blazin' and Mighty Bree. Fastest Leap galloped on Jazzy Fizzle on the first turn checking Fastest Leap, Jazzy Fizzle and Mighty Bree. Fastest Leap and Mighty Bree collided approaching the home turn. Weowna Jet and Hell Blazin' collided approaching the winning post checking Weowna Jet.
Fastest Leap was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
