Cosmic Lola and Cousin Cosmo collided soon after the start.  Conspiracy checked off Come At Me approaching the first turn colliding with Brother Leo.  Gamilla Go Girl checked off Mepunga Treasure on the first turn.  Come At Me checked off Cousin Cosmo approaching the second turn.  Cousin Cosmo checked off Mepunga Treasure on the second turn.  Conspiracy, Brother Leo and Gamilla Go Girl collided on the second turn checking Gamilla Go Girl.  Cousin Cosmo checked off Cosmic Lola on the home turn.  Come At Me and Cosmic Lola collided in the home straight.   

Pappa Gallo, Pud and Crackerjack Burn were slow to begin.

Saahd and Dyna Keitaro collided soon after the start.  Pappa Gallo and Pud collided approaching the first turn checking Pud and Dyna Keitaro.  Pud and Dyna Keitaro collided approaching the home turn checking Pud.  Saahd and Dyna Keitaro collided entering the home straight.

Lochinvar Impact was slow to begin.

Lochinvar Impact and Agent Jack collided soon after the start.  Mepunga Tiara, Full On Bling, Cosmic Wise, Simply Elite and Agent Jack collided approaching the first turn checking Full On Bling and Cosmic Wise.  Full On Bling and Lochinvar Impact collided on the first turn.  Mepunga Tiara and Agent Jack collided on the second turn checking Agent Jack.  Lochinvar Impact and Full On Bling collided in the home straight.  Kiltah Magic raced wide in the home straight.

Morningside was quick to begin. Allen Deed and Caustic Bale were slow to begin.

Know Danger, Weblec Belle, Ryno's Raider, Slipaway Mavis, Caustic Bale and Allen Deed collided on the first turn checking Slipaway Mavis and Allen Deed. Allen Deed faltered on the second turn and tailed off.  Feikuai Zack checked off Weblec Belle on the fourth turn and collided with Caustic Bale.  Morningside checked off Know Danger on the home turn and stumbled.  Caustic Bale and Ryno's Raider collided on the home turn.

Allen Deed was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle and right monkey muscle injury, a 30 day stand down period was imposed. 

Slipaway Mavis was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Dyna Yemen was re-vetted at kennelling after it was noted that the greyhound had vomited in its kennel. The greyhound was passed fit to run. The officiating Veterinarian Surgeon Dr. S. Karamatic also inspected the small amount of vomit in the kennel and reported it to consist of meat/bile. Stewards spoke to the greyhound's trainer Mrs. A. Dailly about the matter and Mrs. Dailly indicated that Dyna Yemen is customarily a nervous greyhound when being kennelled and has also vomited previously when in a similar state. Stewards noted Mrs. Dailly's comments and further directed that a sample be taken from the greyhound. 

Zipping Felix and Irinka Alf were slow to begin.

Irinka Alf and Dyna Yemen collided soon after the start.  Zipping Felix and Irinka Alf collided on the first turn checking Zipping Felix.  Lamia Bale and Ballerino collided in the front straight and again on the second turn checking Lamia Bale.  Jokowi and Lamia Bale collided on the third turn checking Jokowi.  Irinka Alf and Zipping Felix collided on the fourth turn.  Darbain Dasher and Lamia Bale collided entering the home straight.

Spring Leaf, Shanlyn Patch, Zipping Maggie and Secret Spell collided on the first turn.  Brad Hill Billy and Spring Leaf collided on the first turn.  Spring Leaf checked off Secret Spell entering the front straight.  Brad Hill Billy and Spring Leaf collided in the front straight.  Shanlyn Patch and Zipping Maggie collided on the second turn.  Wind Whistler and Express Lane collided on the second turn causing Express Lane to race wide.  Shanlyn Patch and Zipping Maggie collided on the third turn.  Brad Hill Billy and Secret Spell collided several times approaching the home turn and on the home turn checking Secret Spell.  Unix Bale and Wind Whistler collided approaching the home turn.

Fleetwood Zac and Sweet Barbados collided approaching the second turn causing Fleetwood Zac to collide with Percy's Lad.  Percy's Lad and Fleetwood Zac collided in the back straight. Ibrox Digger, Fleetwood Zac, Evers Bale and Sweet Barbados collided on the third turn checking Fleetwood Zac.  Dyna Nihlist and Ibrox Digger collided approaching the home turn.  Fleetwood Zac checked off Ibrox Digger approaching the home turn.  Fleetwood Zac and Percy's Lad collided entering the home straight.

Run On Rosey was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind webbing injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Mahogany Saphire and He's So Good were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Spring Gambo crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Mahogany Saphire, He's So Good and Ebert Bale.  Nifty Neveelk checked off Spring Gambo on the second turn checking Just Wins and Ebert Bale.  Motangi checked off Low Talker in the home straight.
