A pre race sample was taken from Another Blue.
Ho Choi and Lynlea Jiddy were slow to begin. Fencer and Asterix Rose collided soon after the start, checking Asterix Rose. Lynlea Jiddy and Asterix Rose collided approaching the first turn, checking Asterix Rose. Crackerjack Burn, Another Blue, Hermoso and Fencer collided on the first turn, checking Another Blue. Another Blue and Fencer collided approaching the home turn. Asterix Rose faltered in the home straight.
Asterix Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both wrists, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
