Shall She Cindy and Why Not Will were slow to begin. Shall She Cindy contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground as a result. Urana Woofa and Benjack's Boy collided on the first turn checking Urana Woofa and Belron Bliss. Belron Bliss and Why Not Will collided entering the home straight. 

Why Not Becky was quick to begin. Lanky was very slow to begin (5 lengths). Miss Dozer checked off Why Not Becky on the first turn checking Ripple Eff Ex. Lanky checked off Open House entering the home straight.

Stewards issued a reminder of responsibilities to Mr S Ugursay, the handler and trainer of Open House to ensure he adheres to the dress code (LR22(3)). 

Upon arrival at the course, a pre race sample was unable to be obtained from Down Under. A post race sample was subsequently taken.

Down Under was quick to begin. Rock Me and Royal Bruno were slow to begin. Buckle Up Zing clipped the heels Sweepin' Boots approaching the first turn. Down Under and Sweepin' Boots collided on the first turn. Royal Bruno and Buckle Up Zing collided on the home turn checking Buckle Up Zing. 

Queen Elsa was quick to begin. Diesel Turbo and Mini Dozer were slow to begin. Diesel Turbo checked off Mini Dozer approaching the first turn. Mini Dozer and Reality Storm collided on the first turn checking Hungry Squirrel and Diesel Turbo and severely checking Reality Storm which faltered and pulled up as a result.

Reality Storm was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the left scapula. A 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

Hungry Squirrel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left fibula. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Lucky's Spirit, Mini Tron and Go Go Guru were slow to begin. Millie's Jack, Miss Who and Go Go Guru collided on the first turn severely checking Millie's Jack which stumbled and lost ground. Lucky's Spirit checked off Mini Tron on the first turn checking Miss Who and Go Go Guru. Go Go Guru checked off Lucky's Spirit in the home straight checking Miss Who. 

Millie' Jack was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Belron Gaz was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Scarlet Blu Boy was very slow to begin (6 lengths). Got Ya Back checked off No Reply on the first turn. No Reply and Got Ya Back collided entering the home straight checking No Reply and causing Got Ya Back to fall. No Reply and Belron Gaz collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. 

Belron Gaz was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Got Ya Back was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left wrist. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards issued a warning to Mr R. Partington, the Handler of Belron Gaz regarding the greyhound racing manners entering the home straight. 

Superior Swagger and Scarlet Scarlet were slow to begin. Superior Swagger and White Escargot collided approaching the first turn checking White Escargot. Jungle Cru and Belron Jessie collided on the first turn checking Jungle Cru. Scarlet Scarlet checked off Jungle Cru approaching the home turn

Sweet Shiraz was quick to begin. Scarlet Tru Blu and Oh Nikita collided on the first turn. Shona's Butter and Sweet Shiraz collided on the first turn severely checking Shona's Butter which stumbled and lost ground, subsequently checking Scarlet Tru Blu and Oh Nikita.

Shona's Butter was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
