Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to kennel representative James Shaw (Glass Roof) regarding the extended period of time between the greyhounds races. Glass Roof last started on the 6th December 2014. Mr Shaw stated the greyhound was returning to race following a change of trainer.
Nevada Triangle, Blossom Noir and Tear Away Lucy collided soon after the start, checking Blossom Noir. Nike Bale and Eumeralla Flash collided soon after the start. Tear Away Lucy galloped on the heels of Nevada Triangle approaching the first turn, checking Nevada Triangle, Blossom Noir and Tear Away Lucy. Lotsa Beer, Nevada Triangle, Tear Away Lucy and Nike Bale collided on the first turn, checking Nevada Triangle and Tear Away Lucy, and severely checking Lotsa Beer which lost considerable ground as a result.
Lotsa Beer was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
