Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to M. Fullerton, representitive for the greyhound Velo Girl, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between starts. Mrs Fullerton stated the greyhound had been recovering from a right hip injury.
Lucilla was quick to begin. Velo Girl checked off Brother Moses soon after the start. Rum Island, Liliana and Velo Girl collided approaching the first turn. Monster Deeds and Lucilla collided on the first turn. Rum Island and Liliana collided on the first turn. Brother Moses checked off Dura Mater collided on the first turn. Brother Moses checked off Dura Mater approaching the home turn. Brother Moses and Dura Mater raced wide in the home straight.
Rum Island was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
