C Gauci, trainer of Aries Queen redecleared a new weight of 25.9 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Aries Queen last raced at 27.1 kgs.
Bran Nue Shewama and Aries Queen were slow to begin. Miss Jay Mac, Rusty Gun and Eddie Yap collided soon after the start. Dana Archie and Shrek's Cosmic collided at the 250m mark. Miss Jay Mac checked off Dozer Tron at the 250m mark. Dozer Tron and Eddie Yap collided at the 150m mark.
Aries Queen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to both metatarsals. No stand down period was imposed.
