Zipping Dermot and Nevada Triangle were slow to begin. Zipping Dermot and Cairnlea Bill collided soon after the start. Berda Bale and Stressful collided soon after the start, checking Stressful. Zipping Dermot, Ma Ma Keogh and Berda Bale collided on the first turn, checking Berda Bale. Berda Bale checked off the heels of Cairnlea Bill on the home turn. True Optimist, Pequeno Rayo and Jasmine Lilly were slow to begin. Jasmine Lilly and Southwood Jack collided soon after the start, checking Jasmine Lilly. Totes Amazeballs and Southwood Jack collided approaching the first turn, checking Southwood Jack and Andelven. True Optimist and Pequeno Rayo collided on the first turn. Leroy The Boy raced wide in the home straight. Southwood Jack raced wide approaching the winning post.

Zambora Brockie was quick to begin. Reverie and Changing Lights collided soon after the start. Changing Lights checked off Miss Rossi approaching the first turn. Draper Bale checked off Changing Lights approaching the first turn and collided with Arolok Dora, resulting in Arolok Dora being checked. Draper Bale and Cogitate collided on the first turn, severely checking Cogitate. Arolok Dora raced wide in the home straight. 

Cogitate was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

New Job Jimmy was quick to begin. Oh Lele Peter was slow to begin. Cosmic Daicos, Vapour Caper, Lynlea Jake and Elite Stress collided soon after the start, checking all four greyhounds. Oh Lele Peter and New Job Jimmy collided several times approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Oh Lele Peter. Oh Lele Peter and Opal Bale collided approaching the home turn, checking Oh Lele Peter. Cosmic Daicos raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Uncool Albert was slow to begin. Lynlea Jiddy was quick to begin. Cudgee Destroyer checked off Augusta Dreaming approaching the first turn. Podium Chance, Lynlea Jiddy, Augusta Dreaming and Unbound collided on the first turn, checking Augusta Dreaming, Lynlea Jiddy, Chloe's Hand and Authentic Ace. Chloe's Hand raced wide in the home straight. Authentic Ace checked off Chloe's Hand on the first turn. 

Authentic Ace was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right pencil muscle, and left triangle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Little Pookie was quick to begin. Sky Alert and Minority were slow to begin. Hero To Zero and Magic Success collided approaching the first turn. Next Grange and Little Pookie collided on the first turn. Magic Success checked off Little Pookie on the home turn and collided with All Bar One and King Richard, resulting in King Richard being checked, and All Bar One being severely checked and losing considerable ground. Magic Success and Little Pookie collided in the home straight. 

All Bar One was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Hetalia Bale was quick to begin. Fluke Of Fantasy and Lil Arthur collided soon after the start. Got Held Up and Abbey's Hand collided soon after the start. Mepunga Nick and Fluke Of Fantasy collided on the first turn, checking Mepunga Nick and Abbey's Hand. Got Held Up, Mepunga Nick and Abbey's Hand collided on the first turn, checking Mepunga Nick. 

Mepunga Nick was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both pencil muscles and the right chest, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Lil Arthur which performed below market expectations was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mr. Peter Byrne, trainer of Saint Jane informed Stewards the greyhound was resuming from a 3 month break following a left knee injury.

Southwood Rose was slow to begin. Saint Jane and Blue Away collided soon after the start. Slipaway Robbie and Southwood Rose collided soon after the start. Dynamic Dash and Lace Parasol collided approaching the first turn. Dynamic Dash checked off Lace Parasol on the first turn. Slipaway Robbie and Southwood Rose collided on the first turn, checking Southwood Rose. Mighty Sam and Saint Jane collided approaching the home turn. Slipaway Robbie and Southwood Rose collided entering the home straight. Dynamic Dash raced wide entering the home straight. 

Slipaway Robbie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both wrists, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Zelemar Zing was quick to begin. Maximum Melva was slow to begin. Black Betsy and Mag Spring collided soon after the start. Snitzel Von Krum, Alpha Aphrodite, Black Betsy and Mag Spring collided approaching the first turn, checking Alpha Aphrodite, Black Betsy, Kinloch Creek, Maximum Melva and Jazzy Osti.

Red Sally was a late scratching at 5.09PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a lacerated pad on the right hind leg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Casarito, Kirabilli Rosie, Cosmic Jewels, Crackerjack Hano and Slipaway Curly collided soon after the start, checking Kirabilli Rosie, Cosmic Jewels and Crackerjack Hano. Osti's Explorer and Casarito collided approaching the first turn, checking Osti's Explorer. Casarito and Kirabilli Rosie collided on the first turn, checking Kirabilli Rosie, Cosmic Jewels and Crackerjack Hano. Casarito and Kirabilli Rosie collided in the home straight. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Regal Tune trialled over the 390m from box one, weight 28.3kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 23.11, the greyhound won by a margin of 2 lengths. Regal Tune was Cleared.
