Ima Menace was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both pencil muscles, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Mabuti Girl was quick to begin. Neville Bale, Kaufman Bale and Oh Lele Peter were slow to begin and collided soon after the start, checking Neville Bale and Kaufman Bale. Top End Bill and Mabuti Girl collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Mabuti Girl. Kaufman Bale and Macburner collided on the first turn. Zipping Geoff crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Callum's Mum, Manila Express and Allen Wake. Allen Wake and Zipping Geoff collided several times from the first turn to the second turn. Manila Express and Maverick Blondie collided on the second turn, checking Manila Express. Manila Express and Callum's Mum collided entering the back straight. Manila Express and Callum's Mum raced wide in the back straight. Zipping Geoff and Run On Rosey collided in the back straight, checking Zipping Geoff and Maverick Blondie. Cosmea and Run On Rosey collided on the home turn. Maverick Blondie and Callum's Mum collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds, Callum's Mum raced wide as a result. Manila Express raced wide in the home straight.

Jamiela Twist was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left elbow, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Colloquial and Gangalla Nugget were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Shahadollar and Wobbler collided approaching the first turn. Big Barking Bert and Maximum Maddy collided on the first turn, checking Maximum Maddy. Colloquial checked off Maximum Maddy on the first turn and collided with Wobbler. Big Barking Bert and Vapour Caper collided on the home turn. Gangalla Nugget and Wobbler raced wide in the home straight. 

Tekki Yvettia and Fluke Of Fantasy were slow to begin. Tekki Yvettia and Say Again collided approaching the first turn. Axis Bale, Hurricane Ash, Mermaid Princess, Renstar and Sofa So Good collided on the first turn, checking Hurricane Ash, Mermaid Princess, Sofa So Good and Say Again, and severely checking Renstar. Hurricane Ash, Mermaid Princess and Sofa So Good collided approaching the home turn, checking Sofa So Good, Fluke Of Fantasy and Renstar. Axis Bale and Say Again collided on the home turn. 

Renstar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the right hind foot, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Maximum Melva and Totes Amazeballs were slow to begin. Onslaught and Mag Spring collided soon after the start. Chim Chiminey and Twist Away collided soon after the start. Maximum Melva checked off Iona Cece approaching the first turn. Maximum Melva and Totes Amazeballs collided approaching the first turn. Chim Chiminey checked off Twist Away on the first turn, checking Iona Cece. Maximum Melva crossed to the outside in the home straight. 

Steward’s issued a final warning to Mr. Liam Priestley for his failure to catch the greyhound Iona Cece in this event.

Zelemar Zing was quick to begin. Field Marshal was very slow to begin (4 Lengths). Buckle Up Nikki, Peter Repeater and Sting Like Ali collided on the first turn, checking Sting Like Ali. Crackerjack Hano and Darley Tuesday collided on the first turn, checking Darley Tuesday. Darley Tuesday checked off Sting Like Ali on the home turn and collided with Field Marshal. Darley Tuesday checked off Field Marshal in the home straight. 

Zelemar Zing was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right back leg. No stand down period was imposed.

Benta Bale was slow to begin and crossed to the rail approaching the first turn. Roger The Runner and Tarn Star collided on the first turn. Underbelly Angel and Hero To Zero collided on the first turn, and again approaching the home turn. Roger The Runner checked off Tarn Star approaching the home turn. Roger The Runner and Benta Bale collided on the home turn, Benta Bale raced wide as a result. Underbelly Angel checked off Hero To Zero on the home turn. 

Bryvon, Elite Tulip and Classy Tulip were slow to begin. Elite Tulip crossed to the rail approaching the first turn. Gold Galleon contacted the running rail on the first turn, checking Demolition Guy. Sky Alert checked off Bryvon on the first turn. Sky Alert and Classy Tulip collided approaching the home turn. Gold Galleon and Elite Tulip collided on the home turn. Gold Galleon cramped in the home straight and lost considerable ground as a result.

Gold Galleon was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained cramp, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Baxter, the handler of the greyhound Gold Galleon. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
