Steward's Report
Fiery Melody was quick to begin. Kraken Tobias and Waimea were slow to begin. Kraken Tobias, Midfield Maestro and Tat Duke collided approaching the first turn, checking Kraken Tobias and Midfield Maestro. Lady Babylon and Wet And Wild collided approaching the first turn. Kraken Tobias and Tat Duke collided on the first turn, checking Tat Duke. Kraken Tobias and Bullboar collided on the first turn, checking Bullboar. Kraken Tobias and Waimea collided approaching the home turn, checking Waimea and Midfield Maestro. Midfield Maestro and Fiery Melody raced wide in the home straight. Bullboar and Wet And Wild collided approaching the winning post.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr K Eyles, the trainer of Kraken Flash regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Kraken Flash last raced on 15th March, 2016. Mr. Eyles stated that the greyhound is returning to racing after a hock injury that required surgery. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Kraken Flash trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 29.4kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.49, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 8 lengths. Kraken Flash was cleared.

Paw Sa Prize last raced on 7th October, 2015. Mr. Mills stated that the greyhound is returning to racing after whelping a litter of pups. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Paw Sa Prize trialled over the 390m from box 2, weight 28.7kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.49, the greyhound won by a margin of 3.25 lengths. Paw Sa Prize was cleared.

The time of the trial was 26.27, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 0.75 lengths. Secretary Bird was cleared.
