Steward's Report
Logistic Kid and Destini Ricardo were quick to begin. Spring Destiny was slow to begin. Spring Destiny and Billy Ray Bunter collided soon after the start, checking Spring Destiny. Adelaide Bale, Dyna Arachni and Spring Destiny collided approaching the first turn, checking Dyna Arachni and Adelaide Bale. Spring Destiny checked off Destini Ricardo on the first turn. Destini Ricaro and Tim Riggins collided on the first turn, checking Tim Riggins. Dyna Arachni and Sprin Destiny collided approaching the home turn. Adelaide Bale checked off Tim Riggins entering the home straight. Billy Ray Bunter and Calvadoss collided several times in the home straight. Calvadoss and Destini Ricardo collided approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr. N. Vincent, the trainer of the greyhound Billy Ray Bunter regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Billy Ray Bunter was vetted and after being re-vetted following event four it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Billy Ray Bunter with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Vincent pleaded guilty to the charge, Billy Ray Bunter was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
