Steward's Report
The start of this race was re-scheduled from 7.08 PM to 7.10 PM as requested by Sky Racing.
Adelaide Bale was slow to begin. Destini Drift and Spring Destiny collided soon after the start. Hillbilly Hell and Adelaide Bale collided soon after the start. Spring Blossom crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Spring Destiny and Izgrev, severely checking Destini Drift which fell. Destini Drift tailed off as a result. Spring Blossom and Eat My Shorts collided approaching the first turn. Izgrev checked off Adelaide Bale on the first turn. Spring Blossom, Izgrev and Eat My Shorts collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Spring Blossom galloped on the heels of Izgrev on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Spring Destiny and Brousko collided on the first turn checking Brousko.
Destini Drift was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Izgrev was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the hindlegs, no stand down period was imposed.
Brousko was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
