Kennels opened at 5:10pm to allow trainers to kennel earlier, due to live entertainment on course.

Eaglehawk Beffa was slow to begin.  Cowboy Love and Zipping Dermot collided soon after the start checking Zipping Dermot.  Ray's Rosie and Firebomb collided soon after the start checking Ray's Rosie.  Cowboy Love and Firebomb collided approaching the first turn checking Cowboy Love.  Beyond The Vally and Firebomb collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Beyond The Vally and Ray's Rosie collided approaching the home turn checking Beyond The Vally.  Beyond The Vally and Eaglehawk Beffa collided on the home turn.

Stewards issued a warning to Ms. M. Shaw, the handler of the greyhound Beyond The Vally regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.

Beyond The Vally was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left monkey muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Pop Always Said and Oh Lele Peter were slow to begin.  Lektra Crash and Disco Diamond collided approaching the first turn.  Any Silvers Bro and Lektra Crash collided on the first turn checking Any Silvers Bro.  Pop Always Said and Oh Lele Peter collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn.  Pop Always Said checked off Disco Diamond in the home straight.

Thunder Raz was slow to begin.  Dust Maker, Nook And Cranny and Eumeralla Donny collided soon after the start.  Dust Maker and Kirabilli Ronan collided soon after the start.  Velvet Hammer and Eumeralla Donny collided approaching the first turn.  Velvet Hammer and Nook And Cranny collided on the first turn checking Velvet Hammer and Kirabilli Ronan.  Thunder Raz checked off Mabuti Girl approaching the home turn.  Thunder Raz checked off Eumeralla Donny entering the home straight checking Velvet Hammer and Nook And Cranny.  Thunder Raz and Nook And Cranny collided approaching the winning post.

Dust Maker was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left shoulder and right quad muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Nork was quick to begin.  Exit Zero, Splash Mountain, Rage Bale and Maximum Shera collided soon after the start checking Splash Mountain which fell as a result.  Maximum Shera and Little Ginny collided approaching the first turn checking Maximum Shera.  Classic Caper checked off Little Ginny on the first turn.  Rage Bale, Triple Lindy and Nork collided on the first turn.  Maximum Shera and Exit Zero collided on the home turn.

Splash Mountain was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right hamstring.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Sonic Dash was slow to begin.  Fratelli Freash, Mepunga Ledger and Aristotle Bale collided soon after the start checking Mepunga Ledger and Sonic Dash.  Fratelli Fresh, Access, Fear The Best and Danyo's Slappy collided on the first turn checking Access and Fear The Best.  Access and Fear The Best collided on the home turn and in the home straight.
