Steward's Report
Ginger Pieces and Don's Legend were quick to begin. Little Mantra, Buckle Up Louis and Ace Hendrix were slow to begin. Riverside Wade and Buckle Up Louis collided soon after the start checking Buckle Up Louis. Zoltar, Ginger Pieces and Don's Legend collided on the first turn checking Ginger Pieces and Don's Legend. Little Mantra faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off as a result. Don's Legend galloped on the heels of Ginger Pieces approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds; Don's Legend stumbled as a result. Buckle Up Louis and Citizen Jane collided entering the home straight.
Little Mantra was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right triangle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
