Scenic Shot and English Lady collided soon after the start. Enrica Bale, Brazen Bull and Ivy Bale collided soon after the start. Ivy Bale, Six Green Thumbs and Eye Smith collided approaching the first turn. Brazen Bull checked off Ivy Bale on the first turn. Enrica Bale, Ivy Bale and Eye Smith collided on the first turn, causing Enrica Bale to fall, checking Brazen Bull and causing Six Green Thumbs to race wide.
Enrica Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained lacerations to the right foreleg and neck soreness, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Due to a malfunction the first split time was unable to be recorded.
