Ringlock Queen and Rene's Memory collided approaching the first turn, checking Ringlock Queen. Ringlock Queen and Golden Bubsy collided on the first turn, checking Ringlock Queen. 

Spring Top and Kezzy's Diamond were quick to begin. It's Magic Time, Redfin Fozz and Hope For Lissy were slow to begin. Dark Corgi and Perfect Rider collided soon after the start. Perfect Rider and Redfin Fozz collided soon after the start. Perfect Rider and Hope For Lissy collided on the first turn. Perfect Rider and Hope For Lissy collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

My Mate Fab, Twilight Cruiser and Twilight Butch were slow to begin. Bet Bet Belle, Lilly Of Laguna, My Mate Fab and Twilight Cruiser collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Lilly Of Laguna and Twilight Cruiser. 

Regine was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left groin injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Mr E Hamilton, trainer of Blush Burst declared a new weight of 30.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Blush Burst last raced at 28.9kg. When queried as to the weight gain of the greyhound, Mr Hamilton advised Stewards that he had placed the greyhound on a oestrus suppressant which had an adverse affect on the greyhound and that he had since stopped administering the treatment to the greyhound. Stewards noted the comments of Mr Hamilton.

Full Blown Turbo, Vintage Queen and Petentim were quick to begin. Miss Crazy Cat and Sisco Blast were slow to begin. Full Blown Turbo, Vintage Queen and Petentim collided soon after the start. Johnny Highpan and Petentim collided on the first turn, checking Johnny Highpan. Petentim and Vintage Queen collided on the home turn.

Loosey Jabna was quick to begin. Eaglehawk Beffa was slow to begin. All Inn Tops, Oriental Prince and Kiwi Invasion collided soon after the start. Token Code, Eaglehawk Beffa and Oriental Prince collided in the home straight. Eaglehawk Beffa and Oriental Prince collided several times in the home straight.

Pink Poppy and Clovalley Belle were quick to begin. Hardy's Me Mum was slow to begin. Howth and Two Pointover collided soon after the start. Archi Willow and Hardy's Me Mum collided approaching the first turn. Hardy's Me Mum, Clovalley Belle and Howth collided on the first turn, checking Clovalley Belle. Archi Willow, Hardy's Me Mum and Before My Time collided entering the home straight.

Lila's Girl was quick to begin. Lido's Boy was slow to begin. Uno Buddy and Feel The Love collided on the first turn, checking Uno Buddy. Stop Senoring and Lido's Boy collided on the first turn. Lila's Girl faltered in the home straight and tailed off. 

Lila's Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound cramped, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr D.Hills, the trainer of the greyhound Lila's Girl. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Paula's Delight and Thunderous Night were quick to begin. Uncontrollable was slow to begin. All Inn Together, Allen Zhara and Velvet Hammer collided approaching the first turn, checking Velvet Hammer. It's An Illusion and Paula's Delight collided on the first turn. It's An Illusion galloped on the heels of Paula's Delight on the home turn. Paula's Delight and Allen Zhara collided on the home turn. Uncontrollable and All Inn Together collided on the home turn. 

Due to a malfunction with the timing equipment the split times for this race were hand timed. 

A pre race sample was unable to be obtained form Cee Ya Mate. A post race sample was subsequently taken.

Cool Dude Roy and Cee Ya Mate were quick to begin. Minnesota and Darley Millions were slow to begin. Cee Ya Mate and Power Sensation collided soon after the start. Cool Dude Roy, Cee Ya Mate and Power Sensation collided approaching the first turn. Kalimna Express and Festy Bale collided approaching the first turn. Kalimna Express and Darley Millions collided on the first turn. Cool Dude Roy and Clovalley Arnie collided on the home turn. Festy Bale and Cool Dude Roy collided in the home straight. Clovalley Arnie faltered in the home straight and pulled up.

Clovalley Arnie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left metacarpal fracture, a 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

This race was delayed approximately one and half minutes due to Tamworth harness race event running behind schedule. 

Bev's Girl and Jersey were quick to begin. Air Commando and Hey Alio Fozzio were slow to begin. Air Commando, Kraken Betty, Sunningdale and Miss Firing collided approaching the first turn, checking Sunningdale, severely checking Kraken Betty and Miss Firing. Chum's Special and Sunningdale collided in the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to Mr N. Mason trainer of Bev's Girl regarding it's improved performance this evening. Mr Mason stated that the greyhound was able to begin well and jump to the lead unlike its previous starts where she had recieved interference. Mr Mason further stated that he was of the opinion that Bev's Girl was in with a chance from the box draw. Stewards noted the comments of Mr Mason and directed a sample be taken from the greyhound.

Stewards spoke to Mrs P. Boots, handler of the greyhound Sodidee which had not raced since 21 March 2016. Mrs Boots stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after recovering from a left shoulder injury.

Burrawonga Tiny and Sodidee were quick to begin. Daintree Teacake was slow to begin. Burrawonga Tiny, Sodidee and Silvermere collided approaching the first turn, checking Sodidee. Pedro's Fitz and Sodidee collided approaching the first turn. 

Pedro's Fitz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left carpal sprain and a laceration to the left hock, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre race sample was unable to obtained from Elite Swift. A post race sample was subsequently taken.

Elite Swift, Lunchmoney Lewis and Zahra Bella collided soon after the start, checking Lunchmoney Lewis and Zahra Bella.
