Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. P Sutcliffe, the trainer of Bally Celtic regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Bally Celtic last raced on 9th March, 2016 and is returning to racing after a season.
A pre race sample was taken from Dragon's Den.
Snaphook Sticka was slow to begin. Dragon's Den, As Sweet As and Baroness Tippy collided at the 250m mark. As Sweet As and Baroness Tippy collided approaching the 150m mark. Dragon's Den and Dynasty Guru collided at the 150m mark. Miss Georgia May checked off As Sweet As approaching the 100m mark, checking Baroness Tippy. Dynasty Guru and Dragon's Den collided approaching the winning post.
MEETING CONDITIONS:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to M Tabb, the representative of Boo Shan regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Boo Shan last raced on 28 August 2015. M Tabb stated that the greyhound had changed trainers. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Boo Shan trialled over the 300m from box 1, weight [insert weight], the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 16.99, the greyhound won by a margin of 2 3/4 lengths. Boo Shan was cleared.
