Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms A. Griffiths, the Handler of Magic Super and reminded her of her responsibilities in regards to the GRV Dress code; pursuant to Local Rule 22.3.
A pre race sample was unable to be obtained from Laniakea, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Spritely Pizazz was quick to begin. Okay Alpha, Laniakea and Apple Cyder were slow to begin. Okay Alpha, Paws And Go and Magic Super collided approaching the first turn, checking Paws And Go and severely checking Okay Alpha which contacted the running rail. Magic Super contacted the running rail on the first turn. Laniakea checked off Another Hope on the first turn.
Okay Alpha was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left hind leg, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
