Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. N. Tapp, the trainer of Vanished regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Vanished last raced on 9th February, 2016 and is returing to racing following a change of kennel.
A pre-race sample was taken from Rozehill Skye.
Rozehill Skye was quick to begin. Vanished was slow to begin. Rozehill Skye crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Lord Somersby, Bandit's Girls and Strummer Express. Lord Somersby and Bandit's Girls collided approaching the first turn checking Lord Somersby. Vanished checked off Adara Lad on the first turn checking Vanished and Lord Somersby. Somebody's Image checked off Lord Somersby on the first turn. Lord Somersby checked off Vanished approaching the home turn. Somebody's Image and Lord Somersby collided in the home straight. Strummer Express, Somebody's Image and Lord Somersby raced wide in the home straight.
Somebody's Image was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
