Kennels opened ten minutes early due to stormy weather conditions in the immediate area.

Ben's Star, Our Kimi and Bandit Brad were slow to begin.  Fatboy's Rule and Alfred Benz collided on the first turn checking Rebound Rita, Our Kimi and Bandit Brad.  Fatboy's Rule and Alfred Benz collided on the first turn checking Fatboy's Rule.  Rebound Rita checked off Bandit Brad approaching the home turn checking Our Kimi.  Ben's Star and Alfred Benz collided in the home straight.

Rebound Rita was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to its left hind dorsal paw.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Bandit Brad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

You Ash Kim was slow to begin.  Patty And Eye and Beautiful Rick collided soon after the start.  Patty And Eye checked off Strawbs on the first turn.  Beautiful Rick and Marly Girl collided on the first turn checking Marly Girl and Beau Lightning.  You Ash Kim galloped on the heels of Marly Girl on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Patty And Eye checked off Beau Lightning in the home straight.

Ms. C. Barnard, trainer of My Pocket Rocket redeclared a new weight of 29.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). My Pocket Rocket last raced at 31.3kgs. 

Soda Anne and Tahlia's Sunrise were quick to begin.  Classy Catch was slow to begin.  Every Cloud checked off Tahlia's Sunrise soon after the start.  Dark Avenger and Classy Catch collided approaching the first turn.  Alisha Jewel and My Pocket Rocket collided on the first turn checking Every Cloud and severely checking My Pocket Rocket.  Tahlia's Sunrise faltered on the first turn and lost ground as a result.  Tahlia's Sunrise and Classy Catch collided on the home turn causing Classy Catch to race wide.  Tahlia's Sunrise and Every Cloud collided entering the home straight.  Alisha Jewel checked off Dark Avenger entering the home straight.  Alisha Jewel and Classy Catch raced wide in the home straight.

Tahlia's Sunrise was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right hind back muscle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Kathy's Queen was quick to begin.  Billy Bubba was slow to begin.  Billy Bubba checked off Nah Wee's Girl on the first turn.

Bruree Jewel was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left hind wrist.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. J. Carr, trainer of Classic Nitro redeclared a new weight of 36.0 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Classic Nitro last raced at 34.6 kgs. 

Sandy Monelli was quick to begin.  Classic Nitro, Streaming, Buckle Up Angus and Segatashya collided soon after the start checking Classic Nitro and Streaming.  Arvo's Violet and Squirrel Benz collided on the first turn checking Arvo's Violet.  Streaming galloped on the heels of Buckle Up Angus approaching the home turn checking Streaming, Buckle Up Angus and Arvo's Violet.  Classic Nitro checked off Buckle Up Angus approaching the home turn.
