Aston Breeze – Late scratching at 8:34am when Mr. Stephen Tabb reported the greyhound to have a toe injury (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Chester Keeping – Late scratching at 11:17am due to weight variation (GAR 101). Chester Keeping is not permitted to compete for 10 days in any other Event. Trainer, Mr. Nathan Mckay was fined $100.

Silver Taquisha was quick to begin.

Rooster Legs, Oryx, Silver Taquisha and Golden Scotch raced wide turning into the home straight.

The start was delayed by approximately one minute due to operational activities.

Blonde Mustang was slow to begin.

Blonde Mustang (racing manners in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock sprain and a left back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Geoffrey Fisher regarding Blonde Mustang’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Blonde Mustang was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Fisher pleaded not guilty to the charge. Blonde Mustang was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre–race urine sample was taken from Paldron Bale.

Chirp Third and Arandt's Girl were quick to begin. Paldron Bale was slow to begin.

Arandt's Girl (faltered turning into the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle and left triangle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on turn into the home straight and deemed it suitable for racing.

Paw Yale – Late scratching at 11:27am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a left sesamoid injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre–race urine sample was taken from Conroy Park.

Paw Rival and Axel's Radar were quick to begin.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Geoffrey Mitchell regarding the racing manners of Conroy Park in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Mitchell, viewing the available race footage, and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action. In arriving at this decision, Stewards observed that Conroy Park had shifted in and collided with Jungle Fireball on multiple occasions in the home straight. Stewards were comfortably satisfied, though, that Conroy Park's racing manners did not constitute a breach of the rules. 

A post–race urine sample was taken from Paw Rival – the winner of the event.

Circle Round – Late scratching at 5:48pm when Mr. Clinton Keith reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Laser Beam was slow to begin.

Steal The Show, Paw Judd and Enzo Envy were slow to begin.

A post–race urine sample was taken from Pugsley – the winner of the event.

A pre–race urine sample was taken from Flat Chat.

Decorated and Riverdale Clyde were quick to begin. Flat Chat was slow to begin.

Nimbostratus and Little Fast Bull were slow to begin.

Nimbostratus (checked and fell on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the left hind. No stand down period was imposed. 

Ruxton Shine – Late scratching at 2:55pm by Order of Stewards, pursuant to GAR 19(4)(b).

Ace Redeemer and Got Immunity were quick to begin.

Ace Redeemer crossed out and severely checked Dig Dag turning into the home straight causing Ace Redeemer and Dig Dag to fall. These two greyhounds underwent post-race veterinary examinations:

- Ace Redeemer was found to have no apparent injury. 

- Dig Dag was found to have no apparent injury. 

Financier – Late scratching at 2:56pm by Order of Stewards, pursuant to GAR 19(4)(b).

Mobile Lad and Full Glamour were quick to begin.

Donatello Zeal (checked and faltered on the first turn subsequently tailed off) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right gracilis injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
