Mister Ching and One Stormy Night collided soon after the start, checking Mister Ching. Maine Heart, Aston Agile, One Stormy Night and Tiger Chien collided approaching the 250m mark, checking all four greyhounds. Maine Heart checked off Tiger Chien approaching the 200m mark. Aston Agile and One Stormy Night collided approaching the 200m mark. Maine Latch and Tiger Chien collided at the 200m mark, checking Maine Lach. Aston Agile and Maine Heart collided approaching the 50m mark, checking Aston Agile.
Mister Ching was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr G. Brett, the trainer of the greyhound Mister Ching. Stewards deemed the performance of Mister Ching unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Mister Ching must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
