Steward's Report
Urana Express (lost ground and tailed off entering the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right chest muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr P.May regarding Urana Express’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Urana Express was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr May pleaded guilty to the charge. Urana Express was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
