Steward's Report
A pre race urine sample was taken from Pete's Entity.
Tension Head was quick to begin. Blue Cabang Got A Pulse were slow to begin.
Tension Head and Show Cause raced wide in the home straight.
Show Cause underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hamstring injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Garry George regarding Show Causes racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Show Cause was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Garry George pleaded guilty to the charge. Show Cause was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
