Beat The Falcon – Late scratching at 1.39pm due to weight variation (GAR 101), underwent a veterinary examination with no abnormalities detected. Beat The Falcon is not permitted to compete for 10 days in any other event. Trainer Mr Evan Keene was fined $100.
Rocky Horror and Call Me John were quick to begin.
Rocky Horror (checked and lost ground from turning out of the back straight and subsequently tailed off) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
