Paw Judas [severely checked on the first turn] underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Orbit Bale (marred Paw Rex in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injured the rght back muscle and chest. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Myles Delbridge regarding Orbit Bale’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Orbit Bale was charged with marring. Mr. Delbridge pleaded guilty to the charge. Orbit Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (1st offence)] at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
