Steward's Report
Select Jealous was quick to begin. Lebron was slow to begin.
Blue Khaki, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. David Mckenzie regarding the racing manners of Blue Khaki in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Mckenzie, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Lebron (lost ground on the first turn) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a thoraco-lumbar injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Mr. Gavin Kearns was queried as significant betting fluctuations were observed by Stewards. The comments of Mr. Kearns were noted and a sample was taken for analysis.
