Steward's Report
Gold Anthem and Make That Call were quick to begin. Fireman Johnny was slow to begin. Ripper crossed in approaching the first turn and collided with Maxi Taxi and Riley's Charm checking Maxi Taxi and Riley's Charm. Ripper, Riley's Charm and Radar Bandit collided approaching the first turn checking Riley's Charm and Radar Bandit. Make That Call galloped on Ripper on the first turn, Ripper stumbled as a result checking Make That Call and Jumangi Spur.
Stewards noted the muzzle on Maxi Taxi became dislodged during the running of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Gregory Reedy regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Maxi Taxi. Stewards directed that Maxi Taxi be boxed first in future events.
