Little Splinter and Good Girl Kiwi were quick to begin. Cranky Joe and Cebu Express were slow to begin.

The start was delayed by approximately one minute due to holding for a Lismore thoroughbreds race. 

Tyrant Tyrian, Rear Vision and Komatsu Icon were quick to begin. Be Kind was slow to begin.

A post-race urine sample was taken from Rear Vision - winner of the event. 

Thunder Bay was quick to begin. Snow Renaissance and Blue Tick Tyrone were slow to begin.

Juice and Especial Blonde were quick to begin. Golden State and Coconut Oakland were slow to begin.

A pre-race urine sample was taken from Crypto Royalty.

Thunder Pie was quick to begin. Global Hero and Bravado were slow to begin.

Kintsugi (lost ground in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

A post-race urine sample was taken from Thunder Pie - winner of the event. 

A pre-race urine sample was taken from Lanzer Bale.

Ayia The Slayer and Kabuto Bale were quick to begin. Redshift Romeo was slow to begin.

Greysynd Larry and Go Gizmo Go were quick to begin. Poppy Rose was slow to begin. 

Go Gizmo Go and Two Reasons collided turning off the back straight, causing Two Reasons to fall and checking Go Gizmo Go. Both greyhounds subsequently underwent post-race veterinary examinations:

- Two Reasons was found to have a left carpal sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

- Go Gizmo Go was found to have a laceration on the left wrist and a right hip injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Anaconda Squeeze tired over the concluding stages. 

A pre-race urine sample was taken from Miss Immy Lee.

Oh Crikey and Miss Immy Lee were quick to begin. Snow Royale and Big Boy Andre were slow to begin.

Scott Lil Diva was quick to begin. Kraken Chance was slow to begin.

Wonderful Girl and Bear It Is were quick to begin. Perfect Stranger was slow to begin and raced wide in the back straight. 

Ewing crossed to the rail soon after the start. 

My Mate Hux raced wide turning out of the back straight and into the home turn. She's Nautical, Super Potato and Perfect Stranger raced wide in the home straight.

She's Nautical marred Super Potato at the top of the home straight, checking Super Potato who, in turn, collided with Perfect Stranger and caused Perfect Stranger to fall.

Perfect Stranger underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain and a thoraco-lumbar injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

She's Nautical underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury reported. Stewards spoke to Kennel Representative, Mr. Mark Giddings, regarding the racing manners of She's Nautical on the home turn and entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, She's Nautical was charged with marring. Mr. Giddings pleaded guilty to the charge. She's Nautical is suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Showgirl Kara, Extinction and Sam's Girl were quick to begin. Braston Miss was slow to begin.

Braston Miss (turned its head outwards at the top of the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no injury reported. Kennel Representative Mr. Mark Giddings declined to have the greyhound re-examined. Stewards spoke to Mr. Giddings regarding Braston Miss' racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Braston Miss was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Giddings pleaded guilty to the charge. Braston Miss is suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Denis The Menace – Late scratching at 1:39pm due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted. Due to the circumstances of the non-arrival, Trainer, Mr. Darren Petersen, was issued with a warning.

Tinker Dan was quick to begin. 

Hartland Duke was quick to begin. Marionvale Pies was slow to begin.
