Magic Moon Beam was quick to begin. Izakaya Lad was slow to begin.
In The Mix (turned its head outwards turning out of the back straight) and underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Glenn Campbell regarding In The Mix's racing manners on the turn out of the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, In The Mix was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Campbell pleaded guilty to the charge. In The Mix was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
