Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Aston Marcay.
She's Magical was quick to begin. Aston Marcay, Werris Bale and Tinker Norm were slow to begin.
She's Magical (marred Werris Bale in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Craig Treherne regarding She's Magical’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, She's Magical was charged with marring. Mr. Treherne pleaded not guilty to the charge. She's Magical was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks (2nd offence) and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Tinker Norm (performed below market expectations) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a lumbo-sacral injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
