Steward's Report
Riendo was quick to begin. Tropic Man was slow to begin.
Victa Tara (visibly eased and turned head outwards in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Ms. Kayla Cottrell declined to have the greyhound re-examined. Stewards spoke to Ms. Cottrell regarding Victa Tara's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Victa Tara was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Cottrell pleaded guilty to the charge. Victa Tara was found guilty (1st offence) and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
