Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Nitro Bale.
Sir Nathan was slow to begin.
Just A Jester (visibly eased passing the catching pen turning into the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Aaron Farley regarding Just A Jester’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Just A Jester was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Farley pleaded guilty to the charge. Just A Jester was suspended for 28 days at Sandown only (1st offence) and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
