Steward's Report
Blazin' Bon was quick to begin. Husky Bailey was slow to begin.
Golden Boot, racing manners home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race five. Golden Boot was found to have injuries to both sartorius muscles, and a spike wound to the left front foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr J Cassar regarding Golden Boot’s racing manners home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Golden Boot was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr J Cassar pleaded guilty to the charge. Golden Boot must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
