Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Starter Ms. Annabelle Groom did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Boulder Dash and Snowed In were quick to begin. Aston Imogen was slow to begin.
Snowed In visibly eased in the home straight and turned its head to the outside, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 6. Snowed In was found to have a left hind toe injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. Riana Groom regarding Snowed In’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Snowed In was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Groom pleaded guilty to the charge. Snowed In was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
