Steward's Report
Perfect Ace and Swanky Chic were quick to begin. Belle Extra and Raging Storm were slow to begin.
Perfect Ace, Swanky Chic, Hatenna Bale, Raging Storm and Solitary Flame raced wide in the home straight.
Solitary Flame underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 10. Solitary Flame was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr Cameron Taylor regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the turn in to the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Solitary Flame was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Taylor pleaded not guilty to the charge. Solitary Flame was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
