Steward's Report
A urine sample was taken from Jabberwocky upon arrival at the course.
A pre–race urine sample was taken from Follow The Sun.
Follow The Sun was slow to begin.
Jabberwocky underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr B.Jones regarding Jabberwocky’s racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Jabberwocky was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Jones pleaded guilty to the charge. Jabberwocky was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
