Southern Law – Late scratching at 2:05pm with Steward's permission, pursuant to GAR 19.

A pre-race urine sample was taken from Drop Of Ink.

Aston Monitor was slow to begin.

Drop Of Ink (lost ground turning into the front straight and tailed the field throughout) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Pursuant to GAR 122, the Stewards requested Trainer Mr. James Shaw to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Drop Of Ink in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
