Steward's Report
Paw Gordy was slow to begin.
Tinker Lee underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following Race 4 - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Craig Burns regarding the greyhound’s racing manners turning out of the front straight. After hearing evidence from Mr. Burns, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their own observations, no further action was taken.
Extinct underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. John Delaroche regarding the racing manners of Extinct in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Delaroche, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
Exhibition Trial - Zipping Megatron - Distance: 525m, Weight: 36.4kg, Box 3, Time Run 29.786. A sample was taken in accordance with GAR 136, having been presented for an Exhibition Trial.
