Missy Coin – Late scratching at 6:53am when Mr Kyle Brooks reported the greyhound to have Diarrhoea (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
A urine sample was taken from Rumour Why Peter upon arrival at the course.
Where's Echo was slow to begin. Chief Kaiser began awkwardly and was very slow to begin.
Where's Echo raced erratically throughout the event, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right pencil muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
White Iverson visibly eased approaching the winning post, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right metatarsals. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Chris Armstrong regarding White Iverson’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, White Iverson was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Armstrong pleaded guilty to the charge. White Iverson must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
