Distracting was quick to begin. Apache Shout was slow to begin.
Apache Shout (lost ground in the front straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Distracting (racing manners in the back straight and on the home turn) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Keith Lancaster regarding the racing manners of Distracting. After hearing submissions from Mr. Lancaster, viewing the available race footage, and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
Paw Yasmin (racing manners in the back straight and on the home turn) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury reported. Stewards spoke to Kennel Representative Mr. Myles Delbridge regarding the racing manners of Paw Yasmin.
