Steward's Report
A pre–race urine sample was taken from I'm Honey.
Diva Eradicator and Max Rose were slow to begin.
Passing (turned it's head outwards in the home straight and collided with Diva Eradicator) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Trainer Mr. Garry George declined the option to have the greyhound re-examined. Stewards spoke to Mr. George regarding Passing’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Passing was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. George pleaded guilty to the charge. Passing was suspended for 28 days at Ballarat (1st offence) and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
