Steward's Report
Duke Caboom was quick to begin. Cindy's Fire was slow to begin.
Cudgee's Wren (faltered first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Defensive (racing manners) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to right tricep and right gracilis. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Garry George regarding the racing manners of Defensive approaching the first turn After hearing submissions from Mr George viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track and were satisfied it was suitable for racing.
A post–race urine sample was taken from Essence– the winner of the event.
