Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Perfect Sal.
Latin Rhythm was quick to begin. Get It Done was slow to begin.
Get It Done (visibly eased and turned its head outwards approaching the winning post) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both back muscles, left triangle and right groin. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. Gavin Gledhill regarding Get It Done’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Get It Done was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Gledhill pleaded guilty to the charge. Get It Done was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
