Steward's Report
Aston Truman, Kraken Huggie and Fast Legs were quick to begin. Talk Backs Back was slow to begin.
Talk Backs Back (lost ground throughout the event), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right back muscle, left triangle muscle and a thoraco-lumbar injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Fast Legs underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind toes. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Aston Truman - the winner of the event.
