This event was delayed by one minute due to operational matters.
Jackpot Jewel and Pixie Trixie were quick to begin. Psycho Buddy was slow to begin.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Pixie Trixie - the winner of the event.
Bella Supreme, checked and fell approaching home straight, completed course, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left wrist and minor neck soreness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Moonlight Annie, racing manners approaching second turn and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to representative Mr R Gore regarding the racing manners of Moonlight Annie approaching the second turn. After hearing submissions from Mr R Gore, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
